I don't wanna read all of that

Background

A little bit on my background! I'm Jolya, and I was born in 2008. Despite my last name, I was raised in a Christian family and hold my faith close. I was born in Egypt, but I lived the first four years of my life in Kuwait! Then, the next six years of my life I spent in Qatar, where I went to a British International school until the fourth grade! I then lived two years in Egypt, but I had no chance at pursuing my academic dreams over there. In 2020, I moved to Texas, where I took every chance I had to finally get a good education so I could become something that relates to coding, my passion. I graduated a semester early from high school so I could have more time to work to save up for college and improve on my coding skills. I have two loving parents, and the sweetest little sister ever. That's pretty much my life story up until here!

Interests

My interests are always changing, but there's a few that are here to stay. First and most importantly, is my interest in God! There is always new things to find out when reading the Bible for the hundredth time, or hearing someone's interpretation on something in a way I'd never think of. The most obvious one would be coding. I just love it, even the dreaded debugging process. I love the "ohhh" moments when I solve a silly problem after spending 4 hours of trying different things. Maybe another clear one would be art. I love traditional art, but I don't consider really myself an artist- it's more of a hobby to me, even though I would love to pursue it next to software. A less visible one is my interest in Formula 1, although I speak of this one less because it is a newer to me, and I still have much more to know. The last one is more my music taste, and even though it always changes, I always find myself keeping Stray Kids in my playlists. I just love the versatility of their discography, but the genre I love the most from them has to be the EDM (noise music is what I call it). I've developed and lost plenty of other interests, but these four seem to be the ones that have never left.

Goals

I have two goals really, honor God with my life, and have a stable job doing what I love; coding. In the fall, I should be starting college at the University of Texas at Dallas for software engineering, allowing me to be a step closer to my dream.
